Hi! I’m Carissa, author of this blog.
I’m a wife and a stay at home mom — Writing that out reminds me of all the years spent dreaming of and preparing for this time. And now it’s here, and it’s more challenging and more boring and also more wonderful than I imagined. I’m very thankful for the man God provided for me, and for our darling son, Noah. He’s several months older now, but this is the best family picture we have at the moment, haha.
I’ll mostly be writing about things I’m learning through or about motherhood; with touches of food, minimalism, art, philosophy, and who knows what else thrown in. I tend to have trouble sticking to just one theme, so if you like eclectic… I’m your girl. 😉
I used to have grand thoughts about changing the world; now I realize that it’s not about changing the world. It’s about loving and serving the people you’re with and hoping that rubs off on other people. It’s a lot more practical and a lot less exciting. But I believe it’s the way God intended for us to do it, and it seems to be the only real way of making a lasting impact.
So here’s to little moments that make a big difference.
